Small Hotels

September 27th, 2019

Small hotels have space for hoteliers to give free rein to their personalities and seek out a niche market of compatible clients. Moreover, as you will note in the establishments listed below, smaller hotels need not sacrifice comfort or luxury—on the contrary. A small-scale operation brings hotel keepers in direct contact with their clientele and allows more personalized service.

Auberge du Vieux-Port
The only hotel in Old Montreal located beside the St. Lawrence River, the Auberge du Vieux-Port is housed in two former warehouses. Amenities include: 45 rooms with views of the St. Lawrence River or St. Paul Street; room service every day from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; a meeting room, Les Remparts, with an 80-person capacity; and a restaurant, Taverne Gaspar, which is open for breakfast and dinner.
