Holy Mackerel!
December 5th, 2017Jean-François Corriveau—owner of Grinder and Hachoir—prepares the opening of his latest, a fish and seafood restaurant named Makro. The new establishment will be run in the kitchen by S’Arto Chartier-Otis, formerly of Les Enfants Terribles and Spa Balnéa. For the 150-seat dining room, designers Gauley Brothers have the task of creating a look that meets the high standards of Corriveau. As for the rest of the building in which the restaurant is located at 1726 Notre-Dame West, there are plans for the development of a club-bar in the basement and, eventually, a boutique hotel on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The restaurant will open in the first quarter of 2018.
