Nestled on the corner of St-Denis and Ontario streets, L'Île Noire opened its doors in 1989. At this typical Scottish pub, 150 varieties of scotch are savoured without pretension. In fact, ties and jeans blend in here as well as a Talisker or Macallan.

The best of whiskies

A frequent visitor to the Scottish highlands, where the world's best whiskies are aged, the owner was so taken by this country that he brought back a fine selection of the country's best blends. Considered a luxury to some and a dream to others, this delicious amber liquid attracts an eclectic and satisfied clientele. The lucky ones get to sit in comfortable sofas facing each other, while other patrons take a seat at bar stools or wood chairs, inside or on the interior/exterior terrace open all year.

The “Brew”

Those who prefer a good brew over malt liquor should rest assured that this pub also offers a selection of 16 draft beers (from England and Local micro-brewery).
